Survivor: Zanzibar is the seventy-seventh season of the Survivor ORG Wiki's Online Reality Game (ORG), Survivor: Wikia!

While the pre-merge received praise for it's unpredictability, the merge was panned due to one tribe steamrolling the opposition with two players controlling every vote out. Still, the twist and the gameplay from the eventual winner have received praise from viewers.

Twists

• Island Of The Idols - Each round, a former castaway will return as an idol to teach the castaways a lesson about the game of Survivor. Each idol was chosen due to how well they are familiar with the lesson they would teach. The idols and their lessons were:
  • Emma from Mutiny Isle & Vang Vieng - First Impressions
  • Jayme from Kamchatka, Caño Cristales, & Clash of the Champions - Tribe Strength and Unity
  • Clifford from Azerbaijan & Last Stand - Leadership
    • Tribe Leaders - At the final sixteen, the two tribes had to vote for a tribe leader to carry out an important role for them in the immunity challenge directly at its start. They ended up voting for CT to represent Dongwe and Devin for Nungwi. They had to divide their tribe members into different tasks for the challenge without being able to consult with them. If they failed to submit a list within fifteen minutes, the placements of their tribe members would be randomized.
  • Gato from Damajaqua Cascades - Tempo and Threat Level Management
  • Mark from Sea of Stars & Vang Vieng - Adaptability & Luck
    • Tribe Swap - At the final fourteen, the castaways were randomly split between the Dongwe and Nungwi tribes.
  • Isaiah from Sea of Stars & Hokkaido - Finding & Using Hidden Advantages
  • Timi from Laguna Colorada & Vang Vieng - Lying
  • Jameson from Antelope Canyon - Situational Awareness
  • Jackson from Lake Tekapo - Taking Risks
    • Vote Steal - At the final ten, the castaways were given the option to play for immunity or play for a reward. The person who won the reward had the option to steal the vote from the worst performing player in either reward or immunity sections of the challenge.
  • Megan from Mongolia, Clash of the Champions, Sacred Valley, & Vang Vieng - Handling Pressure & Stress
  • Regin from Issyk-Kul - Jury Management
    • Quadruple Immunity - At the final eight, the players were put into four pairs decided by the first two members of the jury. The player who performed the best in each pair earned immunity.
  • AJ from The Ganges & Hokkaido - Earning Back Trust and Repairing Relationships
  • Alyssa from Lake Tekapo - Planning Your Endgame
    • Polling the Endgame - At the final six, the castaways were given the ability to vote on two aspects of the season's endgame: if the final six round would have one or two immunity winners, and if the final four round would be a typical vote or a forced firemaking round. If there was a tie in a category, it would default to the normal Survivor round format. They chose to have one immunity winner at the final six and a regular vote at the final four.

  • Ethan from Rome, Retribution, The Caribbean, & Clash of the Champions - Winning Final Immunity
  • Adam from Hokkaido - Pleading Your Case
