Survivor: Ngorongoro Crater is the eighty-seventh season of the Survivor ORG Wiki's Online Reality Game (ORG), Survivor: Wikia!

To this day, the Crater remains one of the more divisive seasons. Many people believe it's one of the best seasons of recent times, and many people believe that this season just didn't live up to its potential. With a stale and predictable series of votes resulting in a very uneventful pre-merge, many players were surprised to see the merge bring a flurry of blindsides, electric gameplay and impressive moves that highlighted the personalities this season had to offer. With unpredictable gameplay leeching into the endgame, the Crater was still a wild ride, even if it may have taken some time to pick up the pace.

Twists

• Food Chain-As a tribe theme for this season, the castaways were initially separated by their experience in ORGs. Ahadi represents the players who are completely new or newer to ORGs, Nyota represents the players who are ORG veterans but have yet to play the Survivor ORG Wiki, and Ujuzi represents previous Survivor ORG Wiki castaways who are returning for another chance to win.
• Marked Targets-As players were eliminated from the game, they were given one last chance to place a mark on any remaining player in the game. At various intervals, those who were Marked would receive a special punishment.
  • Marked Tribal Council-On Day 20, all remaining players who were Marked by the pre-jurors were forced to attend a tribal council where one of them would be voted out of the game, becoming the first member of the jury.
    • Gift of Life-At the Final 11 Marked tribal council, those who were not Marked competed in a reward challenge, where the winner could anonymously grant individual immunity to a Marked player. It would not be known which Marked Target was granted immunity until right before the votes were read.
  • Lost Votes-On Day 29, all remaining players who were Marked by the first four jurors lost their vote at the Final 7 tribal council. All seven players still attended tribal council, and (barring the individual immunity winner) could receive votes. The Marked Targets would not be revealed until right before the votes were read.
