Survivor: Laos is the first season of Survivor Wikia.
Considered by most as the 'test season', Laos is notable for its miniature cast and length, featuring ten castaways and spanning 24 days. It also is noted for pioneering many features of the ORG that are unique from the canon series, including cross-tribal alliances, the formation of a tribe halfway through the pre-merge, and the first ever tie at the FTC.
Twists and Changes[]
- Tribe Swap: On Day 8, the remaining members of the two tribes were switched, but a new tribe, Bimmaáhchiia was formed.
- Dissolved Tribe: After the Day 9 Tribal Council, the two remaining members of Shúa were dissolved by the two other tribes.
- Hidden Immunity Idol: The contestant who won the Day 13 Immunity Challenge not only won immunity for their tribe, but also the Hidden Immunity Idol. The idol was good until the final five.

Season Summary[]
The first ORG season took place in Laos, and there were originally two tribes: Hísshe and Shúa. Hísshe consisted of Hickman, Ometepe, Arlie, Alex, and Adam. The Shúa tribe consisted of Alfons, Blaine, Chris, Henry, and Clove.
Hísshe was a slightly weaker tribe, losing the first two immunity challenges; this led to an alliance between Hickman and Ometepe. Both of them had secret alliances with Henry of the other tribe as well. Alex and Adam both approached the two to make an alliance of three. After Arlie was voted out due to inactivity, Ometepe and Hickman turned Adam and Alex against each other. This resulted in a 3-1 vote against Adam. The Hísshe Alliance (Hickman, Ometepe, Alex) was born.
Shúa was a stronger tribe; they won the first two immunity challenges but didn't get strategic until the tribe outnumbered Hísshe 5-3. Alfons and Blaine made an alliance, and their opposition was the Henry and Chris, another pair. Clove sided with Alfons and Blaine.
Everything changed with a Tribe Switch. Chris and Henry went to a new tribe (Bimmaáhchiia), Ometepe and Alex became members of Shúa, and Alfons and Blaine switched to Hísshe. When the new Shúa tribe lost, Clove was outnumbered by the former Hísshe members on his team and voted out.
The game shifted again when Shúa was dissolved. Alex went to Bimmaáhchiia, while Ometepe went back to Hísshe. New Hísshe lost the next challenge. Hickman and Blaine were immune during the vote. Alfons targeted Ometepe, while Ometepe targeted Alfons. Blaine joined his ally Alfons in getting Ometepe out. Hickman was fearing for a tie vote, so he flipped to the Shúa Alliance, eliminating Ometepe.
At the final tribal immunity challenge, the contestants had to make a hidden immunity idol. The contestant with the best idol would win for their team. Blaine of New Hísshe won the idol. Because Henry did not cast his vote in time, New Bimmaáhchiia's vote was a 1-1 tie between Chris and Alex. With 58% of the vote in a tie-breaking poll, Alex was eliminated.
The merge finally happened with five players remaining. Hickman flipped again to Bimmaáhchiia, so Henry and Hickman stuck together until the end. Alfons and Blaine were eliminated next, leading to a Final Three with Hickman, Henry, and Chris. Blaine, Alfons, Alex, Ometepe, and Clove composed a jury of five.
The jury praised Hickman for his strategies, but some of them argued he betrayed too much. Chris was appreciated for his physical game and social game, but people thought he didn't have much strategic game. Henry mastered the physical game, social game, and strategic game, and he got a jury vote from Blaine. Hickman had relationships with Ometepe and Alex better than anyone, and he got their votes. This meant the jury vote was a 2-2-1 tie between Hickman and Chris. As 3rd place, Henry cast the deciding vote, and Hickman was declared the winner of Survivor: Laos.

^1 A tie initially occurred between Adam and Arlie. However, because he had failed to submit a vote, Arlie was eliminated.
^2 Because Henry did not cast his vote in time, a tie occurred between Alex and Chris. Alex was eliminated by 58% of votes in a poll which was used to break the tie.
^3 The final vote resulted in a tie, so the second runner-up, Henry, became a member of the jury to cast the tiebreaking vote.
