Survivor: Gotland - The Sacrifice is the seventy-ninth season of the Survivor ORG Wiki's Online Reality Game (ORG), Survivor: Wikia!

Gotland brought 21 new players into three teams. Immediately, the season was plagued by slow and conservative gameplay, which resulted in the games of likeable and rootable players being sacrificed. An unfortunately-worded comment at the merge tribal council triggered one contestant into attempting to systematically eliminate other contestants based on race, hurting the season further. However, the season is redeemed in part by a competitive Final Tribal Council, come-from-behind winner, and inventive twists and challenges.

Twists

• Sacrifice: There are three braziers located in a cave near each camp camp. If a player wants to go into the cave and extinguish a flame, they would message their confessional "I extinguish flame A/B/C". If they do this, the flame will be extinguished, and they will receive the contents inside that brazier. However, this will displease the Survivor gods and place a penalty on their team, along with other potential personal penalties. Their team will not be informed of who took the advantage, just that there was a brazier extinguished and there was a penalty placed on their team.

• Expanded Cast: For just the sixth time in the Survivor ORG Wiki series and the first time since Antelope Canyon, there were twenty-one new castaways split into three tribes of seven at the beginning of the game.

  • It is the fifth season to feature multiple team names with accented letters, following Laos, Peru, Turkey, and Svalbard.
• This is the first new player season since Bali to have a planned 21 person cast.
  • Antelope Canyon was a last minute change from 18 to 21 players due to app volume, while Gotland planned on 21 players regardless.
