Puppet With Extra Long Strings is the fifth episode of Survivor: Polynesia.

Challenges

Immunity Challenge: Ores
The castaways are to play a game called Ores. This game involves breaking two or blocks of the same color to rack up points and to prevent them from falling off the stage. The castaway with the highest total from both both tribes wins immunity.
Rapa Nui Winner: Chrix
Tuamotu Winner: Adam

Reward Challenge: Cube Crash II
The castaways are to play a game called Cube Crash II. This game involves breaking three or more blocks to clear the stage and to gain points. The person with the highest total wins reward.
Reward: To watch the opposing tribe's tribal council.
Winner: Adam

Story

Day 13

Aaron joined Tuamotu from Abduction Island, and Ted was not accepted by Rapa Nui, and rejoined Tuamotu as well.

Day 14

It was a double elimination and Adam won Tuamotu's Individual Immunity, whilst Chrix won Rapa Nui's Individual Immunity.

Day 15

ON RAPA NUI:

Alliances were also divided by Tribes on Rapa Nui, with the former Rapa's (Eden, Jay, Kevin, and Mitch) Leading the tribe. After Chrix won Immunity, Alex, and Bob were in trouble.

Jay wanted Bob gone, and originally the Rapas were going to vote for him, however Eden saw Alex as a bigger threat due to his very good scrambling, which almost made Eden flip.

The former Tuamotu's targeted Jay for having the Idol, but fell short. Alex was voted out 4-3.

ON TUAMOTU:

Aaron, who had been excluded on the original Tuamotu, joined with the remaining Rapa Nui's. However they (Phil, Carby, Aaron) were still three to the majority alliance of four (Adam, Maya, Ted, and Val)

The minority of 3, decided to eliminate Ted, Adam's right hand man.

At Tribal Council, Phil began to target Val, accusing her of being a sock puppet of Eddie (a false allegation). Phil's sudden change of heart made Aaron weary of him, so Aaron decided to vote for Phil.

Whilst Carby stuck the the original plan of getting Ted out, Phil stuck to the new plan of getting Val out, and Aaron stuck to his plan of Eliminating Phil. However it was all for naught, as the majority voted out the only person in the minority who was strategically thinking. Carby was blindsided 4-1-1-1.
