In Sinai, Nicole was a social force, building strong connections to the entirety of her tribe due to her selection of the group. Going into the merge, Nicole’s snaky and erratic approach quickly saw her fall prey to the more developed scheming and antics of her fellow castaways. Despite landing on the wrong side of several votes, she was able to make a deep run before being taken out at the endgame.

Returning to Nakuru, Nicole improved on her gameplay and used the pre-merge to develop inroads to both tribes through a strong social-strategic game. After choosing a side at the merge, Nicole landed on the wrong side of a vote or two, but quickly recovered to ascend to a power position. Now controlling the endgame with an iron fist from all sides, Nicole's threat level rose and before it could send her out, she made a controversial idol play that received scrutiny but also locked her spot at the end. At the Final Tribal Council, Nicole was applauded for her well-rounded gameplay and endgame control but scrutinized for inconsistency and placed 2nd in a 5-4 vote.
