Courtneyyatesfan, also known as "Chroma", is a contestant from Survivor: Hokkaido and Survivor: Mortals vs. Immortals.

A confident player in Hokkaido, Chroma worked closely with their blood oath Isaiah. Their social skills kept them alive through the swap and helped them gain the majority as part of the Iriwak 2.0 alliance. However, Chroma's confidence would be their downfall as many players would see them as the frontrunner to win in the end. At the final seven, Melina pushed hard to vote Chroma out and succeeded with only Adam voting to keep them.

Returning to Mortals vs. Immortals as an Immortal, Chroma aimed to pursue a less abrasive style of gameplay, and established a domineering presence on the tribe where much of the tribe's dynamics revolved around them and their relationships. However, this social dominance again failed to go unnoticed by many of their tribemates, and was leveraged by several of them to subtly raise their threat level throughout the season. Spending most of the pre-merge building deep relationships with their tribemates and keeping those relationships in check, Chroma entered the merge as a known social threat, which resulted in an attempt to blindside them at the Final 12. However, when this plan was leaked by Andry to them, the plan backfired and switched to Luxury instead. From there, Chroma was not able to escape the spotlight, and was blindsided at the Final 9 in an attempt to break open the dynamics of the game from their grasp.

Profile[]

Name (Age/Pronouns): Chroma (16, he/they)
Current Residence: Ontario, Canada
Personal Claim to Fame: I think I have hyperphantasia, and this has opened up a cinematic universe in my head featuring multiple reality TV shows that I am a part of, including but not limited to Dance Moms, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, Survivor, The Amazing Race, and recently, Big Brother.
Three Words to Describe You: Imaginative, flamboyant, avant-garde
Hobbies: Being slightly above-average at video games, making irrelevant spreadsheets, contributing to my own personal cinematic universe, writing, listening to and finding new music, browsing ORG Wikis, and being a part of reality TV stan Twitter.
Pet Peeves: People who believe in reverse racism or heterophobia and think that they are issues of any legitimacy whatsoever, general bigotry, early merges in ORGs (like, before Day 19), close-ended responders, and about fifty million other niche pet peeves I don't feel like rattling off. Also Harry Styles. I really hate Harry Styles.
Favorite Real-Life Survivor Player: Michele Fitzgerald, because she made friends, kicked ass in every aspect, and won it at the end. She's balanced, dedicated, and sociable, just like what I'd say I am.
Why did you come on Survivor?: This ORG has such a huge legacy and ever since I learned of its existence, I've wanted to contribute to it. I want to show these bitches my worth!
Why do you think you will be Sole Survivor?: That's for me to know, and everybody else to find out.

Survivor: Mortals vs. Immortals[]

Profile[]

Name (Age, Pronouns): Chroma (17, they/he)
Hometown: Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
Current Residence: See above... I haven't moved houses ever.
Personal Claim to Fame: I've successfully founded an ORG! TravelORGs is now five seasons in the making, and I am so proud of the success it has fostered over the last year. I have met so many wonderful people through the ORG, and the ORG has already produced a number of players who would go on to become incredible names in the community. Starting an ORG was an ambition I had for so long, and to see my passion project not only come to life but receive the overwhelming love and support it has received has made me so unbelievably happy and proud.
Pet Peeves: People who are shitty to customer service workers, stubbornness, a significant portion of one side of my family, organized religion, ugly tribe name/color combinations, people who are rude/confrontational to be "iconic," hypocrites, and people who banter with me so much they don't ever take me or anything I do seriously (looking at a number of people for that one, but I'm not naming names).
Favorite Past Moment: Honestly, I could say the reset idol but that's a cop-out and it lowkey ruined my game even though the move was iconic as fuck. So instead, I'm going to say being on Iriwak 2.0. I loved that tribe!! Every single person there was a fantastic player and lovely person. Whether it was bantering with Adam, trying to figure out if AJ hated me or not, playing Roblox with Ash, scheming with Isaiah, having deep emotional conversations with Iris, or sharing reaction videos with Melina, every single person on that tribe was different in their own ways, and they were all so fun to talk to.
Favorite Real-Life Survivor Player: Michele Fitzgerald. She is arguably the most well-rounded player and winner ever, and she is honestly everything I aspire to be as a player myself. She knows how to manage her threat level, she plays subtly yet boldly, she knows how and when to win important immunity challenges, and she doesn't take shit from anyone. She's also so eloquent and well-spoken when she needs to be and I really respect a woman who doesn't take shit from any egotistical man.
Survivor ORG Player You Respect The Most: SPKT and Isaiah for sure. SPKT has been an amazing co-founder of TravelORGs alongside me, and I really appreciate all the work they put into running the ORG with me and making my passion project come to life. In addition, they're just a super fun person to talk to and I really appreciate the friendship that has blossomed between us. As for Isaiah, Isaiah was my rock through all of Hokkaido. He was such a wonderful person to work with, and it was so awesome to see him thrive both before and after I was voted out! By far one of the best partnerships I've ever had in an ORG, and I couldn't have asked for a better Blood Oath partner.
Survivor ORG Player You Respect The Least: I didn't expect to actually have an answer to this because as a general rule, I try to stay on good terms with everyone... but after recent events, I'd have to say Frost from Gotland. He was the epitome of social unawareness and delusion, and his racial biases plagued my first hosting experience with the ORG. I hate the way his stupidity caused so much emotional damage to innocent people on the cast.
Why did you come back?: Ever since I've had the time to reflect on my first season, why I was perceived the way I was at the time, and why things ended the way they did for me, I have taken the corrections and applied them to my future ORG appearances, and it has resulted in infinitely better results for me. I want a chance to show this ORG that I really have grown and matured as both a player and a person, and that I can dial down the theatrics and focus on my game. (Also, to make it to the Final 6... please)
Why are you a(n) Mortal/Immortal?: I am an Immortal because I took the steps I needed to take to establish myself as one. I was a little bit of a mess last time I played, but one thing was made undeniable from my time in my last season - I was a character, and an important one at that. And even beyond my original season, I have become somewhat of a recognizable name throughout the entire community, and that is because I did what I had to do to get my name out there and put myself on the map. I had the drive to work at improving myself so that I could stand out in a community I was passionate about being a part of, and looking at how far I've come, I do believe I have the right to call myself an Immortal because of that.
Why will you become Sole Survivor?: Immortals never die, so why should I?
